Prime 111 that has great food and Cocktails as well. There is a large roaring fireplace in the dining room which is open to the bar area. This night I chose to stop in for a nightcap but steak tips are always a favorite for me.

Expect to pay a premium, but well worth it. Great atmosphere and service. Wooden rustic decor. Large bar. Great appetizer selection. We had the pigs on a wire (bacon), the tomatoes, oysters, clams casino, clam chowder. The steak was cooked to perfection. The bearnaise sauce is amazing. Also tried the lobster mac, the creamed spinach, Burger, and king crab legs. Spinach was very good. Only 2 criticisms that are minor: 1. The potato chunks are too big in the clam chowder. 2. The lobster mac and cheese was flavored well, but has large pasta. Looks like penne. This is not a good choice in my opinion. Doesn't hold the sauce well. Plus served in a very small bowl. See pic. Overall a excellent restaurant. One of the best steak houses in CT! Update June 2022 I went back again today. Still nice. It was busy though. Took forever for food to come out. The steaks were way overcooked. We ended up redoing them and getting them to go because it was getting late. On a good note, the manager gave us discounts and tried to make it right without us even asking. Kudos for that. I still really like this place. I think we just hit a speedbump today. Not typical for them.

Absolutely splendid evening at Prime 111, and it must be said, Dave was the star of the show. From the moment we were seated, his attentiveness, charm, and sheer professionalism elevated the entire experience. The man’s knowledge of the menu was impeccable, offering spot-on recommendations with the confidence of someone who truly knows his craft. Every course was timed perfectly, our glasses were never empty, and not once did we feel rushed or overlooked, a rare treat these days. Dave carried himself with the kind of grace and wit you’d expect in a fine establishment, with that warm American hospitality that makes you feel genuinely welcome. He struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us our space, a true gentleman. In short, if you find yourself at Prime 111, do yourself a favour and ask for Dave. Five-star service, through and through.

Food was absolute perfection, and service made us feel like we're VIPs. Emily was simply a Rockstar, so give the girl a raise. She knew the menu inside out, listened, offered great suggestions, and overall, she was so super delightful. Chilean Sea Bass was simply delish, moist on the inside, crunchy on the outside. Blackened Salmon simply BEST I have had in a very long time. Ahi Tuna Tacos - Tuna soo fresh, it melted in my mouth. Onion Soup - omg! Creme Brulee - must have. And visually, every dish was plated so beautifully, it would be a shame not to take pics.

Really enjoyed our visit to prime one eleven! My husband and I didn’t want anything too heavy and decided to go with the wedge salad and the lobster bowl! The lobster bowl is like a corn chowder almost but is absolutely delicious and creamy! I was obsessed with the fried onions on my wedge salad and asked for chicken on the side. It came with two breasts and it was definitely filling, I thankfully had more than enough to take home for lunch the next day! The waitress that we had was absolutely fantastic and very attentive to us. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked to die for. We’ll definitely be back! They also have outdoor seating as well as a huge bar to sit at!

The Ambiance was wonderful! Most of the food was delicious. The service was perfect. Waiters and Waitresses were clean cut, professional and knowledgeable of the menu. The negatives were the Menu. Limited. But most have been during this pandemic. Which means for a chicken, non spicy, non seafood eating person like myself,, the chicken sandwich wasn't much seasoned at all. But my family loved everything. Also a bit pricey. But you have to dish out for a night out, ambiance, great service and very very clean. Oh and the drinks were perfectly made! I'm picky with my Dirty Martini....

First-time visiting the restaurant and enjoying it. The warm, inviting atmosphere is fantastic, and there is an impressively large wrap around bar. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The menu is extensive and impressive. The lamb lollipop was exceptional, and the dipping sauce was out of this world. The lobster Mac and cheese were tasty, although it could have been more flavorable. The pigs on a wire were sweet with a honey flavor and were delicious. Drink wise, there were many good choices; however, the prime cider and spiced orange cran Margherita was fantastic. I didn't have dessert this time; I'm sure it would be wonderful. There are so many incredible menu choices, and I look forward to a return visit.
